The Waterline Summit will be returning for 2021 as a hybrid event thanks to our Event Partners and wide range of Business Sponsors who help make the summit possible.

In 2020 we attained a truly international reach, with more than 2000 registrations, across all 7 continents, 30 Humber exhibitions, and 51 speakers across the week engaging a wide audience of businesses, investors, academics, students, and community groups.
The event attracted influential speakers from Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Bank of England, Arup, MakeUK, Environment Agency, Renewables UK, Team GB, HSBC, IP Group, and Macquarie Group amongst many more from our key Bondholder Partners.
A flagship event for decarbonisation in the North. The 2021 Summit will provide the perfect platform to demonstrate the Humber region’s opportunity, propelling us towards our end goal of achieving an estuarial net-zero economy.
Delegates will get an insight into the project portfolios surrounding the UK’s Energy Estuary, demonstrating the transformational projects of scale, and the economic benefits as we build a new model for decarbonisation for all communities in our region and beyond.
This event will open doors for collaboration across all sectors and provide practical steps for individuals, students, communities and businesses to implement to transition towards a zero-carbon existence.
The Waterline Summit 2021 will continue to raise the profile of the region and demonstrate how the Humber can provide solutions to this global challenge.
Our series of events will kick off with headline event The Waterline - Why the world needs the Humber, followed by five themed days aligned with the COP26 presidential themes:

The summit will also include business seminars led by industry and academia experts. As well as a range of education, skills and community events.
