What is it?

The Waterline Student Sustainability Challenge with leading sponsors SSE Thermal and Equinor has now closed for 2022! Check back soon for updates.

The Waterline Student Sustainability Challenge gives students aged 9-18 across the Humber region the chance to make a positive impact on the environment and local and wider communities by creating inspiring solutions to harmful climate problems... while being in with the chance of winning some fantastic prizes!

Finalists will win:

  • £250 CASH for your team and a behind-the-scenes business experience

Overall winners will ALSO win:

  • An additional £2,000 for their school/college eco project or STEAM club. PLUS a trip to Norway, including a VIP visit to an Equinor facility!

The challenge offers the opportunity to learn about Humber-based businesses and organisations, providing an insight into what the Humber has to offer in relation to sustainable careers and skills development.
