Hybrid event at Forest Pines, North Lincolnshire, Tuesday 19th October. 4pm until 5.30pm with networking and refreshments afterwards. Tea / coffee from 3.45pm.

Keynote speakers:

Followed by a question and answer session with keynote speakers joined by representatives from Humber Zero partners Phillips 66 and VPI.

The session will be closed by MP for the area Martin Vickers.

Hear first hand from those spearheading and supporting the Humber Zero gateway decarbonisation project.  This key event will highlight this critical project on the Humber, responsible for 40% of the UK’s industrial carbon emissions.

Partners will outline why Humber Zero is so important to the Government’s net zero ambitions. They will highlight the thousands of jobs that would be created and protected by the £1.2-billion project.

The event will hear about carbon capture and storage and the links needed between education and industry to ensure there is a skills pipeline in the future.

The key note speakers will be joined in a question and answer with representatives from Humber Zero partners Phillips 66, which owns the Humber Refinery, and VPI-Immingham, the combined heat and power plant.

The session will close at 5.30pm, after which the bar will be open and refreshments served.

If delegates are not able to attend in person, they will be able to join online.
