Hugh Yendole has worked in the energy sector for almost three decades including 25 years specialising in renewables. Focusing since 1999 on wind projects, his experience spans three continents and includes major onshore and offshore projects. Hugh's expertise ranges from development and construction through to asset management and operations. Before joining Orsted in 2011, he worked at Shell and EDF. 

Currently, Hugh's remit includes role of director and board member for the joint ventures that make up Orsted's west coast UK assets: eight offshore windfarms (1.8GW in aggregate) generating electricity for 2 million UK households. 

Hugh is a Chartered Engineer, and received qualifications from Cambridge and Hull universities.
