Lauren is a Scientific Officer at the UN World Meteorological Organization in Geneva, Switzerland where she provides scientific, technical, and coordination support to the Science and Innovation Department and the WMO research programmes. With a lifelong passion for weather, Lauren received a BSc in meteorology from Florida State University before completing a MSc in climate change and international development at the University of East Anglia. Since then, Lauren has worked at the nexus of science, policy and sustainable development and strives to bridge the gaps between these diverse disciplines.
