CEO of Hull & East Yorkshire Children's University a multi award winning charity that raises the aspirations of disadvantaged children and children living in care in Hull, East Yorkshire and North East Lincolnshire. 

A qualified teacher with 21 years of experience working in the education sector. Dedicated to developing new ideas and excellence in the field of primary education. I have worked internationally teaching in Canada, China, and Thailand. After half a decade working for the Education Business Partnership linking schools and businesses in Hull and delivering enterprise activities to children I became Deputy Director of Hull Children's University moving into the role of CEO in 2015. I am passionate about offering children opportunities to learn outside the classroom that raise their aspirations and self belief.
