Rachel is currently a Marine Scientist with the Met Office. With a long-term interest in the marine environment, she possesses several years’ experience working across both the public and private sectors. Over the course of her career, she has worked on a variety of global projects, with a wide range of clients including government bodies, developers, insurers and reinsurers to consider the impacts of climate change on our oceans. Sea level rise is going to have significant consequences for coastal communities worldwide. Rachel’s current work aims to co-develop with potential users a coastal resilience service focusing on sea level projections, extreme water levels, storm surges and weather patterns.
