As Ecosystem Director for Maritime and Ports at Connected Places, Tom leads the Catapult Maritime and Ports strategy including digitalisation and decarbonisation initiatives working with regional leaders, the public sector, academia and innovators across industry. Tom has experience across the maritime, defence nuclear and engineering sectors through previous positions held at Rolls-Royce and Lloyd’s Register in innovation, clean maritime, materials science, maritime autonomy, cyber security and digital twins for connected assets. Tom is a member of the Institute of Engineering and Technology and holds a BSc in Environmental Science.
